CRITICISM - JUDGEMENT - DISCRIMINATION

I am sick, tired, and weary of individuals who have crucial misunderstandings of what is criticism, what is judgement - and what is discrimination.

According to their logic it would follow that great warriors who remained silent and did not stand up to protect the honour of Śrīmatī Draupadī were perfectly correct and displayed the topmost ethical standards in the assembly hall.

A few Realizations from Communication with Devotees

1.) Thoroughly honest devotees – honest with themselves and others – are a rare breed indeed. And it is a splendid thing that they do exist. I am tremendously grateful for that.

2.) I am more and more convinced that most devotees – although basically nice people – are in denial even when confronted with undisputable visual evidence.
Or, they just do not have the ability to discriminate. Which is lamentable. There is nothing we can do about the latter type.

3.) I have to repeat that devotees in general do not seem to be very fond of the truth in general. It disturbs them. Which raises the question how they will ever approach the Absolute Truth.

4.) There are many more duly initiated disciples of His Divine Grace A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami than I thought – who are in the above categories, namely 2 and 3.
They usually prefer to talk about past glories and rather “share the nectar.”
Obviously, there is nothing wrong with sharing nectar. The nectar, however, becomes unpalatable to me when the very real and urgent issues never get seriously addressed. Not in more than fourty years.

5.) One of the most serious and urgent issue is that of child abuse. Sure, there have been some laudable endeavours for child protection throughout the years – only to be thwarted by those who are in the position to manipulate others under their “care.”

6.) I am not a subscriber to conspiracy theories. My view is that in this dark age of quarrel it will be difficult to keep a conspiracy alive for extended periods of time. (Because of internal quarrels, that is).
However, I am convinced more than ever before that there is an organized sinister cartel of paedophiles at play in the top ranks of ISKCON. They maybe be smiling at you, they may give “inspiring” lectures, they may sing “ecstatic kirtans,” they may present “Prabhupada nectar.”
I am very much astonished how many devotees are snow blind due to saffron attire and tilaka worn – in some cases – by the lowest of mankind.

7.) The fear to commit Vaishnava Aparadha is deeply implanted and rooted in the rank and file devotees. The most hackneyed and stale items from the mouldy drawers of the ISKCON propaganda cabinet such as “you are envious” or the equally popular “you are committing a great offence” still seem to do the trick.
Persons who abuse children, or protect those criminals, have no scruple to abuse the Bhagavad-gītā and other scriptures either – namely, quoting verses to let criminals of the hook. Bhagavad-gītā 9.30 seems to be the most popular.

8.) I will not get into details today in regard to other urgent issues or persons. Only this much for an example:
The man who comes by the name of Radhanath “Swami” is highly regarded and considered today’s top leader of the institution by many. Candramauli Swami is on record for calling that man the “present self-effulgent acarya.” I therefore go on record for saying that Candamauli Swami is a misleading idiot number one.
I will spare you my take on the rubbish literature of Radhanath “Swami” and whatever else he stands for.
I request you, however, to ask you this question:
What to think of a man who pays his fully prostrated obeisances to the corpse of the notorious Keith Ham aka as “Śrīla Bhaktipāda” – before having him buried in the sacred soil of the holy dhama of Vrindavan?

9.) I consider myself fortunate that I am not part of that institution any longer. I want nothing of it.
Do I have a tangible alternative to offer? No.
But that is not the point today.

10.) Those who still want and believe in a purified ISKCON must demolish the utterly corrupt leadership of the institution.
Not by violence. But by civil disobedience and boycott.
